Provence

Avignon, see the walled city on the Rhone River, former residence of several Popes and of course birthplace of the famous “Pont d'Avignon” song and bridge.

 

Aix- en- Provence, Paul Cezanne’s birthplace, following in the painter’s footprints, walk through the town and discover the hidden squares with their charming fountains.

 

 

 

Arles, don’t miss Van Gogh’s museum and some of the most fabulous Roman ruins. Also visit the famous Marseille harbor and the Chateau d'If prison become famous for its legendary inmate “the man in the Iron Mask”.

St Raphael, again a historical place, see the landing site of US Navy in World War II.

French Riviera

St Tropez, situated on the fabulous Mediterranean coast, the “Hollywood” of France thanks to the iconic actress Brigitte Bardot.

Cannes, renowned for the Cannes Film Festival, you can also enjoy a visit of Vence and its chapel decorated by Matisse. St Paul de Vence, the fortified village is perched on a cliff, and is the cherished home to many painters and art galleries. Here you will experience one of the most breathtaking panoramic views of the Mediterranean coast.

Nice, the capital of the French Riviera. Nearby rests the Principality of Monaco with its grand royal palace and the casino of Monte Carlo.

Italian Riviera

Portofino, San Remo and Rapallo, all fashionable vacationing locations for the Italian high society, where beautiful panoramas on the Mediterranean Sea can equally be enjoyed.
